My Love of Turquoise

I grew up surrounded by turquoises and turquoise jewellery… my grandmothers and mother were always obsessed with all things turquoise. Interestingly enough, this has not translated to my own designs, and I find myself very rarely actually using the beautiful opaque stones in my own jewels. One time I did use them, though, was to combine them with these very unusual K2 gems from the eponymous mountain, finding that the two shades of blue complement one another perfectly.
